All Pilots love toys and gadgets, So here are a few review and tips in relation to products I use flying. None of them are sponsored, so I get to say exactly what I feel.
Five years ago I turned onto Elstree Aerodrome and I saw a sign. Now that sounds deeply religious, and I've probably just offended half of you already. It wasn't. It was an actual sign. A board. And on the strength of it I picked the flight school that would teach a man in his fifties to fly. Me.

Every student pilot hears the same advice on day one. I even give the same advice now. Don't buy anything until you've got your licence or you really NEED it. Borrow, rent, use the school's kit. Wait and see if you actually stick with it.
It's good advice.... and I totally ignored it.
