What happens when you stick 3 pilots into a C172 and fly 1/2 way across Europe to an aero show? We take our 1977 Cessna 172N and fly from Elstree in the UK to Friedrichshafen in Southern Germany. It was what I would describe as an Epic Flight, I learnt more in 6 hours of flying than I have in the last year in GA in the UK.
Weather played a big part, but we also had instrument failures as well as having to deal with French Military exercises.
